Do I need a username and password to use the portal?

No. The ARAL Summer Learner S.C.O.R.E Card portal is public — no account is required.

What device and browser can I use?

Any modern browser works: Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, or Firefox.

What school year do the grade levels refer to?

Always use the INCOMING grade level for School Year 2026–2027.

Can two tutors encode for the same school at the same time?

Yes. Multiple tutors on different devices can encode at the same time for the same school. All entries go to the same school database.

I closed the browser. Do I need to start over?

No. Every saved tutor, learner, and score is stored on the server — not in your browser.

Is the learner data secure?

Yes. The site is served over HTTPS and hosted inside the DepEd Division infrastructure.

What does SMART-LRMS and Learner S.C.O.R.E Card stand for?

SMART-LRMS is the DepEd Zamboanga Sibugay School Materials and Resource Tracking — Learner Resource Management System.

Is there a mobile app, or is it web only?

The portal is a responsive website. There is no separate Android or iOS app to install — just open the URL in a mobile browser.

I picked the wrong school. How do I switch to the correct one?

Scroll back to Step 1. Click your district again, then click the correct school.

My school is not listed under my district. What should I do?

First, double-check that you clicked the correct district.

What do the percentage numbers beside each district or school mean?

That percentage shows how far the district or school has progressed in encoding — combining Pre-Test, Formative Tests, and Post-Test entries across enrolled learners.

Can I encode for a school that is not mine?

No. Use only your own school or your officially assigned station.

I am assigned to two schools. Which one should I pick?

Pick the school that is hosting the ARAL Summer session you are currently encoding. Switch schools in Step 1 whenever you move to the other station.

Why does a principal form pop up right away?

The portal auto-opens the Principal modal when your school record has no school head position on file.

I do not know the principal email and contact yet. Can I skip them?

Yes. Only the name and position are required. Contact number and email are optional but recommended.

Step 2 will not let me proceed to Step 3. What happened?

Click Save Principal first. After the success message appears, the Proceed to Step 3 button becomes active.

Who should I add as a tutor?

Add every person who will handle learners for ARAL Summer in your school — this includes regular teachers, master teachers, and volunteer tutors.

Can one tutor handle multiple learners and subjects?

Yes. A tutor can be assigned to many learners and to more than one subject or program.

I encoded a tutor name or position incorrectly. How do I fix it?

In Step 3, click the Edit button beside the tutor row, correct the information, then click Save.

Can I delete a tutor who was added by mistake?

Yes, if the tutor has no assigned learners. Remove them directly from the Step 3 list.

How many tutors can I add?

No hard limit. Add as many as your school needs.

A tutor on our list has left the school. What do I do?

Re-assign that tutor's learners to another tutor in Step 4 (Edit each learner and change the per-subject tutor).

Which program should I pick — CRLA, Phil-IRI, RMA, Numeracy, SARP, or SHS?

Use the incoming grade level for SY 2026–2027 and match it to the program rules below:

We entered the wrong incoming grade level for a learner. How do we fix it?

We only enrolled the learner in CRLA but forgot to add RMA. How do we add RMA to an existing learner?

You do not need to create a new learner. One learner can belong to multiple programs at once.

Is the 12-digit LRN required? What if the learner has no LRN yet?

LRN is 12 digits long and is optional, but strongly recommended.

How do I choose SARP subjects for a learner?

Inside the Add Learner form, scroll to the SARP (Summer Academic Remedial Program) section.

Why does the system say "this is not available for incoming Grade X"?

The chosen program does not match the learner incoming grade. Example: Numeracy is only valid for Grade 2–4.

How do I delete a learner added by mistake?

In Step 4, find the learner and click Delete (when available).

I want to change the tutor for only one subject of a learner. How?

Tutor assignment is per learner-subject. Go to Step 4 and click Edit on the learner.

A learner transferred from another school. Which school should enroll them?

Use only the current receiving school where the learner is physically attending the ARAL Summer session.

Can I import a list of learners from Excel?

Bulk import from the public portal is not enabled at this time — add learners one at a time in Step 4.

Can I export the learner list or scores?

The public portal does not include export. The SMART-LRMS administrator can export from the ARAL Reports Dashboard.

What is the difference between CRLA and Phil-IRI?

Both cover Filipino and English. The portal routes each learner to the correct one based on incoming grade.

What subjects are encoded under RMA?

Regional Remediation Program (RRP) is no longer used in Step 5. All related score encoding is now under RMA.

Is there a deadline for enrolling learners or encoding scores?

Deadlines are set by the DepEd Division. Watch for official memos from your district or school head.

Why does Grade 4 now go to CRLA while Grade 5 goes to Phil-IRI?

The current Step 5 routing is: CRLA for incoming Grades 2 to 4, and Phil-IRI for incoming Grades 5 to 11.

Why do Filipino and English ask for separate tutors?

Tutor assignment is stored per selected subject or program, not only per learner.

How do I edit or re-enter a Pre-Test score that was already saved?

Editing a saved score is done directly in the same Score Encoding table.

Why are the maximum scores locked to 20, 10, 10, 10, 20?

The system enforces the official ARAL Summer max scores:

Our assessment actually has a different max score. Can we change it?

Only the system administrator can change the max score for a specific school (stored in aral_score_max_settings).

I want a score to be blank (not zero). How?

If no score is saved yet, simply leave the cell empty.

How does auto-save on blur work? Do I still need the Save button?

Auto-save on blur means: the moment you click or Tab out of a score cell, the system saves that one cell automatically — as long as the score is valid and the learner has an assigned tutor for that subject.

Why does a learner row show "No assigned tutor"?

That learner-subject has no tutor assigned in Step 4.

Saving shows "Missing subject tutor". What should I do?

The popup lists every learner-subject row that has no tutor.

My score turned red with "Max is 20" or "Max is 10". What went wrong?

The value you typed exceeds the max for that test. Lower it to within the limit and click outside the cell — it will auto-save.

Will my scores be lost if I refresh the page?

Saved scores (green ✓) live on the server and reload whenever you open the page.

A learner does not appear in the Score Encoding table. Why?

Check the filters at the top of the table:

For CRLA or Phil-IRI, I entered scores in the wrong subject tab. How do I fix it?

Why does SARP and RMA show a subject column inside the table?

SARP and RMA can have multiple subjects per learner. The subject column identifies each row uniquely.

Is there a time lock on saved scores?

No time lock. As long as the assessment window is open, any saved score can be edited from the Score Encoding table — type the new value and click outside the cell.

I saw a "Network error" while saving. What now?

Your internet briefly dropped. Retype the score and click outside the cell to retry.

What is the difference between Pre-Test, Formative Tests, and Post-Test?

Why does Step 5 say the selected grade is not applicable?

Each assessment page only accepts the official grade band for that assessment.

Why can’t I find RRP in Step 5 anymore?

RRP is no longer used as a separate Step 5 assessment.

Do learners take the test on paper, or is it on this website?

Learners take the actual tests on paper (or any format the DepEd memo specifies). The tutor encodes the results into this portal afterwards.

My internet cut off in the middle of encoding. Did I lose progress?

Every cell you typed AND clicked out of (auto-saved with green ✓) is already on the server. Those are safe.

Can two tutors see each other's scores?

Yes. Tutors in the same school see the same learner list and share the same scores, because there is one roster per school.

Why is one assessment type hidden in Step 5?

Step 5 hides an assessment tile when your selected school has no enrolled learners for that assessment yet.

Why is a Formative Test or Post-Test locked, closed, or disabled?

Assessment stages can be opened or closed by the authorized reports administrator. When a stage is closed, tutors may see it as locked, disabled, or unavailable for encoding.

If Formative Tests or Post-Test are reset, will Pre-Test also be deleted?

No. When the current reset procedure is applied, it targets only Formative Test 1, Formative Test 2, Formative Test 3, and Post-Test.

What do the Division, District, and School progress cards represent?

Percentage = saved (non-cleared) scores ÷ expected cells (learners × applicable tests).

Why is my school still 0% after I saved scores?

Refresh the page — the dashboard re-reads from the server on load.

Where can I view the full report for my school?

Click the Admin Reports link inside each assessment page. The ARAL Reports Dashboard shows per-learner scores, averages, and item analysis where available.

Do I need to log in to open the ARAL Summer Reports dashboard?

The public ARAL Summer encoding portal and FAQ do not require a login.

Can I view data from previous school years?

The public portal shows the current SY only. Historical data is preserved on the server and available to administrators from the full reports dashboard.

Is this data reported to the DepEd Central Office?

Consolidated reports are generated at the Division level and forwarded according to DepEd policies. Individual learner data is kept confidential within the Division.

Is there a monitoring view that groups schools by district?

Yes. There is a dedicated district monitoring page that groups schools by district and separates schools with entries from schools without entries.

I see "Duplicate LRN" when saving a learner.

Two learners in the same school cannot share the same 12-digit LRN.

I see "Invalid" in a score cell.

The cell received something other than a non-negative number within the max. Retype a number between 0 and the max shown in the column header.

A score cell shows "Cannot be negative" or "Save failed".

How do I send a problem report?

Click the small Report Problem button at the lower-right of any ARAL Summer page (the red triangle ⚠ icon).

What should I write in the Report Problem form to get resolved fast?

Can I print or save this FAQ as a PDF?

Yes. Click Print / Save PDF at the top of the page. The layout prints cleanly on A4 and Letter paper.

Is there a hotline or direct email?

The fastest channel is the Report Problem button on this site. It routes to the SMART-LRMS support team with the page context already attached.

Why does a Help & Support reminder appear on ARAL Summer pages?

The portal shows a Help & Support reminder about every 12 hours on public ARAL Summer pages so tutors can quickly open the FAQ, submit a Report Problem, or contact support if needed.
